First-year (FY) students can live in buildings devoted first-year students only or choose to live in a blended building with upper-level (sophomore 和 junior) students. Either way, we have highly trained staff who know how best to support you.

Living in 一年级 Housing is Convenient, Supportive & 有趣的
First-year housing is located in two of our very popular corridor style buildings — 成白脸 和 威尔逊.
- First-year housing buildings are active, highly energetic communities with lots of opportunities to meet new people from around the 世界.
- 成白脸 Hall is conveniently located in the heart of on-campus housing, 关闭 to the college center, library 和 the Memorial Gym. 威尔逊 Hall is conveniently located next to the biggest on-campus parking lot, Saranac River Trail 和 the largest dining 设施, Clinton 餐厅 Hall.
- Each 地板上 has a supportive community advocate (CA) to help guide 和 mentor new students.
- Our 社区 晚上活动 are hosted by our programming advocate staff. 学生 can look forward to weekly BINGO 和 trivia nights hosted in 成白脸 和 威尔逊, along with bi-weekly local trips to the movie theatre to watch newly released movies for free — 和 so many other fun activities.
- Each building is supervised by full-time, supportive community directors (CD) who are a great resource for our first-year students.

Blended housing — living alongside upper-class students — offers convenient, supportive 和 fun options for first-year students, too, with unique 和 diverse structural styles 和设施.
You may prefer suite-style living (deFredenburgh, 罩, 莫菲特) or lowrise corridor-style buildings ( 哈林顿, Macdonough, 麦库姆, 梅森). Each of these buildings has unique conveniences for on-campus living. deFredenburgh, for example, has four music rooms 和 梅森 is 首页 to the Student Mail Center. 几乎 all of our blended housing options are conveniently located near the college center, Clinton 餐厅 Hall 和 Memorial Gym.
- All blended housing facilities have the conveniences you would expect, ranging from access to 24-hour laundry, common areas 和 kitchens on every 地板上.
- When possible, FY students room together but would have sophomore 和/or junior-level students living in the community throughout the building.
- Each 地板上 is supported by a CA to help guide 和 mentor the students living on their 地板上. CAs also regularly put on fun 地板上 events to help build 地板上 community!
- All first-year students, regardless of their on-campus residency, are invited to 社区 晚上活动.
- All first-year students can look forward to fun weekly events like BINGO 和 trivia 和 bi-weekly local trips to the movie theatre to watch newly released movies for free — 和 so many other fun activities.
